Anthotype Image of Local Leaves (Lauren, Exeter)

“I created an anthotype, a kind of natural photograph from the 19th century, by coating paper with spinach juice, arranging some leaves on top and exposing it to the sun. The rays from the sun altered the chemicals in the juice and turned the areas not covered by leaves paler.”
