Dazzling Green Reflection (Margaret, Ottery st Mary)

“What struck me was the incredible green, distorted reflection of the tree above, in the water below, taken at around 7pm. I am an artist but love the idea of the science behind an image like this.”

– We love the dazzling reflection effect & also (because we’re wave physics nerds) the wave-fronts on the water’s surface, emanating from the dog’s paws! The dog is a source of energy in this little puddle, shown by these waves!
