Carbon
In our exhibition, you might have played on the Global Carbon Project (GCP) Carbon Story.
It’s clear that we’ve been increasing carbon dioxide in the atmosphere since the industrial revolution, and so we need to both reduce our emissions, and actively extract carbon dioxide from the air, to reduce the risks of extreme warming. And there’s a huge amount of research into the Global Carbon Budget (led by academics in Exeter) to understand and track how much we’re emitting, and how it’s stored in the oceans and land.
Find out about what we can do about carbon emissions on our Make an impact page!
